Supporting Kansas City’s World Cup Moment
June 12, 2026

With FIFA World Cup matches taking place across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico this summer, Kansas City is ready to welcome six matches in June and July, featuring some of the world’s top soccer teams.
GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, referred to as “Kansas City Stadium” for the tournament, has been upgraded to meet international soccer standards.
Holliday Sand & Stone supplied approximately 18,000 tons of aggregates from the Harrisonville Quarry to support renovations at the Harry S. Truman Sports Complex, including work completed by George J. Shaw Construction Company. Materials were used at GEHA Field to expand the playing surface and construct portable seating, as well as at Kauffman Stadium, where the outfield fence was adjusted.
We’re proud to play a role in this exciting moment for Kansas City sports!
